"Wow, a lot of changes going on here! We went to Borrillo’s in November 2022 and I can tell you, the service and food was not as good as it was when we went back last Friday. Pizza was fantastic, this time! Other customers were having sandwiches which looked great!
I understand that this restaurant has had a recent change of ownership. Kudos to the new owners to take on the challenge of a appealing to the local crowd; you are doing it!!!
Honestly, it looks like some of those recent 1⭐️ ratings are coming from haters, ex employees, former owner loyalists. Folks, the food is not bad at all!
As a business owner, as with any change in ownership, there are personnel changes. Bringing in a new staff, building that loyalty, new processes, there are going to be growing pains! Out with the old, in with the new!
All I say, the food was great; hell, they were understaffed when we were there, but I was in good company and we enjoyed just being there.
Do not write this place off! The pizza was fantastic! I say let them take off, support local restaurants, help them improve!
Owners: don’t let the haters influence you! Stay the course!
As in the voice of Arnold; “I’ll be back”!"
"Sarah is the best, and her voice is incredible. Sarah and Richard really know how to bring in a crowd when they sing!"

"The BEST PIZZA in all St Augustine. Every time I go to St Agustine, I have to stop in Borillos. I have never been disappointed with them ❤️."

"If you’re in Saint Augustine and want a slice of New York Pizza, this is the place to go. They also have excellent baked pasta, dishes, calzones, and Stromboli‘s as well as cold sub sandwiches. It’s a tiny restaurant with only about nine tables in the actual restaurant. However, there is an open air area where they have live music at night. The small restaurant section is rather careworn, and a little shabby, which, in some ironic way adds to the charm of the place. They may be cutting back on the baked pasta dishes unfortunately probably due to lack of demand. One day I had baked ravioli Florentine, which was absolutely excellent, but they said they were taking that off the standard menu."
